Some unknown and mysterious fact about Earth
As the crow flies, it is over 16,600 km from Cape Town / South Africa to the coast in the Chukchi Autonomous Okrug at the northeastern tip of Siberia. These are the most distant points on the earth's surface that are connected by land. Here I show it on Google Earth, the yellow line connects the two points that almost disappear on the horizon. Since the route doesn't have to be straight, you can make it as long as you want. In theory, you can zigzag for ages on the path in any country without being in the same place twice (in practice, of course, not everything is accessible). An upper limit does not have to be specified, unless you really only want to use existing routes, then this is a new task, "the longest graph in the route network of Eurasia Africa, on which you are not at the same point twice", and much more difficult to calculate. But these are the two most distant points on the earth's surface, between which you can (theoretically) walk without getting your feet wet.At some point I didn't see her anymore. Because she had moved away or was running a different route. She was gone. Swallowed by the ground. Took the answer with me.
